Apparently today is the St Kilda Festival. So all the roads we needed to take to get to our hotel were blocked by mindless "Event Managers" who did not seem to understand we just wanted to get to our hotel. After being within only a few hundred metres from it and being turned away we were directed to another ridiculous detour that was, you guessed it, ALSO BLOCKED OFF! By this time I had had enough of their shit and rode through anyway. I will be sending a very nasty email to the organisers of this event. Absolutely no consideration for out of town visitors. Anyhow the Middle Park Hotel looks like a nice old pub and very handy to the shit tomorrow. We're about to head down for a drink or three. Photos soon.
